To Hell and Back: the story of Michael Vick's pit bulls

Next time you start to stereotype something - be it a person or a dog, remember these pups:

Good video. It doesn't however change my opinion on pit bulls. The bottom line is that most of them (several of these in fact) were fighting dogs. It doesn't take much for that instinct to come right back and when it does, someone could be dead before help arrives.

I personally don't like them, wouldn't own them, and won't be around them.
That's about as bigoted as saying that women with tattoos are tramps. Might be "reformed" and married and all, but all it takes is one good line and they're out the door being all trampy ;-)

I disagree, but hey, that's what makes the world go round right?

Perhaps you'd have a little bit different view if you had been chased down the road by an angry pit bull foaming at the mouth. Hmm...something about that just sticks with me. Sorry
Yeah... I guess it would have taken a pit foaming at the mouth instead of a german shepherd foaming at the mouth chasing me as a little kid @ Uncle Lawrence's place. Unless my memory is grossly mistaken, I believe changes of clothing were even required I was so scared that dog was going to eat me. What? I was a little kid and dogs the size of german shepherds eat little kids, right...? :-)
I was a chow actually, I do remember that, too. Don't like chows much either!! :)
It was a chow, not I was one...geez...I can't spell or type this morning, so I'm screwed!

By the way, the time on your blog is still set to Arizona time!
The Live Oak cross country team used to run past a house that had a Rottweiler that like to chase runners. Extra inspiration.
Do you know that it's been a month since you've updated anything here?
